Welcome to TrueNetwork, operated by Planovative Community Research and Development Inc. (“Planovative,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TrueNetwork platform, associated websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
TrueNetwork is Canada’s first integrated platform mapping the country’s non-profit sector. It connects non-profits, funders, governments, policymakers, and researchers to strengthen collaboration, transparency, and impact. The platform supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Canada’s 2030 Agenda by connecting knowledge, organizations, and initiatives nationwide.
You must be of legal age in your province or territory and capable of forming a binding agreement. Organizational users must have authority to act on behalf of their organization.
To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account.
We may offer a one-week free trial for new users. By participating, you agree to provide optional feedback to improve the Services. Users subscribing before January 1, 2026, will retain early-adopter pricing for 24 months.
Base price: $50/month (monthly) or $40/month (billed annually)
All prices are in CAD and exclude taxes.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and our processor to charge your payment method. Annual plans are billed upfront; monthly plans renew monthly. You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing period. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
You retain rights to your uploaded materials. Planovative retains rights to the platform software, data architecture, and compiled analytics. Third-party materials remain the property of their creators. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display content as needed to operate the platform.
TrueNetwork aggregates public information from non-profits, charities, municipalities, and open data sources. Accuracy cannot be guaranteed, and content may change or be incomplete. Users are responsible for verifying key details.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and use information. By using TrueNetwork, you consent to the processing of data as described in that policy.
We aim for continuous service but may perform updates or maintenance. We are not liable for outages, delays, or errors beyond our control.
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that data is fully accurate or up-to-date.
Planovative shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or for loss of data, revenue, or goodwill. Our maximum liability will not exceed fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
Either party may terminate use of the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated. Sections regarding liability, IP, and governing law survive termination.
We may modify the Terms or Services to enhance functionality or comply with laws. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
